POTOK SEGA DISCRIPTION
POTOK SEGA is a small farm house and stable that sits at the bottom of Mountian Boc (link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bo%C4%8D) at the border of 2 villages Makole (link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makole) and Polcanje. Hrastovec Pod Bocem 20. There is a small river named Potok Sega that runs past the house and splits off at some point leading up stream to Slap Sosterica(link https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4A9MV_slap-sosterica-sosterica-waterfall?guid=9d4e9bcf-b547-447d-ae05-6f279a7275be ), a small waterfall, with a gorge and small Heart shaped cave. The original heritage farmland property extended on the north side of the river about 200 meters north west into the woods along the creek and up (north) the mountain about 500 meters with terraced south facing fields. The south side of the river is Protected sustainable managed forest which is respectfully maintained by its local stewards and local hunting Club.
WHY “POTOK SEGA”
We assumed the name POTOK SEGA for this place because “Potok” meaning – “creek” and “Sega” meaning- “tradition”. We want to acknowledge the oldest known tradition of this space to be from the root of its energy from its past. We would lie to recognize the root of such traditions to re-connect to the highest creative and healing energies of the space so we can carry on the tradition and reconnect with our roots in nature. POTOK SEGA PROJECT
The Potok Sega project is in a new revival stage. The property was originally purchased by a young family of artists to work together to restore the house and farm and develop it into an artistic, touristic, agricultural space. It was in operation for 3 years was a permaculture work space, WWOOF host, art events, festivals, and spiritual retreats.

Unfortunately because of the timing the project encountered some obstacles, we halted the project and prepared to develop at a later time. The time is now!
With the help of some good friends and some non profit organizations who came together to revive this beautiful dream, Potok Sega is reborn and back with full energy. We will be offering a more collaborative and rich program of very talented people. Potok Sega is in the early stages of development and will offer many programs such as Ecological accommodations, tourism programs, retreats, workshops, natural seminars, art residencies, permaculture.
